Child Safety Standards Policy

GenFam is built first and foremost for the safety of children. This Child Safety Standards Policy sets out our zero-tolerance approach to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and the standards every user must follow on our Platform.

Our commitment

Generation App Ltd has a zero-tolerance policy towards child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation. The GenFam Platform is designed so that children only ever participate under the supervision of a verified parent or guardian.

How we keep children safe

• Parent-monitored accounts — children under 13 access GenFam only through a sub-account managed by a verified Parent account.
• Parental controls — parents can view their child’s notifications, messages, calls and connections, and approve or reject every connection request.
• Approved content only — children are shielded from unnecessary content and can access only parent-approved educational material.
• Private memory vault — family photos and videos are stored privately and are never exposed to public feeds, algorithms or strangers.
• No public discovery of children — children’s profiles are not publicly searchable or discoverable.

Prohibited conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on the GenFam Platform and will result in immediate removal and account termination:

• Uploading, sharing, requesting or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
• Grooming, soliciting, or any sexualised communication directed at a child.
• Attempting to contact a child outside of parent-approved connections.
• Impersonating a child or a parent, or circumventing age and identity verification.

Reporting and enforcement

Any user can report content or behaviour that may harm a child using the in-app reporting tools. Reports are reviewed promptly.

Where we identify apparent child sexual abuse material or exploitation, we will remove it, terminate the accounts involved, preserve relevant evidence, and report to the relevant law enforcement authorities and child protection bodies, cooperating fully with their investigations.
